Years ago, i heard the following, often attributed to Lao Tzu, and it went straight to my heart: "Being deeply loved by someone gives you strength, while loving someone deeply gives you courage." What i have learned since is that one must be willing & able to accept the strength and the courage that ensues from love, or it will move on until it finds a resting place.
