Thank you for sharing a poem that I listened to as an English major in the author’s own recorded voice. I was mesmerized by his recitation of his poem, and even though at the time I didn’t truly understand all that he had written and recited, I remember how I felt..sadness, regret, longing..even at my tender age of 20 or 21 ( I don’t recall which) I still loved hearing it...
