Melanie - this is one of the most important - for me - messages I have ever received. Diving timing - thank you so much. Beyond. For actually getting it and seeing me and appreciating and letting it spark your own journey. Phew. You are a saving grace for me this day.

I am presently living in a Senior Complex which challenges me to expand my capacity to love. I find myself avoiding certain people because they irritate my spirit. I lean toward folks who are willing to share their stories: Veterans of War , grief stricken men and women who journey forward feeling lost and alone, people who live with illness and disease yet they go on with courage and bravery. My goal is to reach out to a broader of people I have yet to meet. How can I be authentic even though I am vulnerable to heart break? My soul desires greater compassion.

I listen to these messages at night when I’m not sleeping and everything, all around me, is silent. It’s not just your words, but the structure of feeling you convey, which transports me to another place and reconnects me to the soul of the world; to a deep, authentic spirit that is missing from so much of what goes on in the topside, topsy-turvy day time world. Sometimes, I forget that structure of feeling that the movement you have created connected me to. The day time world seems to have swiped it away from me. No matter how hard I try to resist. But, listening to your voice, speaking in such soft and peaceful tones about all those hard things that really matter, reminds me how to stay both soft and strong myself; that deep work and deep connection comes through authentic vulnerability and speaking directly from the heart about what it true. And what is true for you, reminds me about what is true for me. Even though our worlds and what occupies our thoughts, may be very different. Our capacity and desire for compassionate truth, beauty and love crosses all boundaries. And I feel expanded. Fortified. Grounded. Even when surrounded by a lot of craziness, a little bit of soulful sanity seems to go a long, long way. Thank you for this 🌹
