Love, Blessing and Thank You for continuing to explore the tough conversations and creating space for Both And! I believe it is possible to see the sides. We have been taught to take sides of, Those bad people, or Poor me, and we need more of What Shall I do from now on. -Adlerian triangle.
The power over culture wants the divide as you mentioned, division provides room for conquest.
Keeping the consciousness open, actively listening provides an opportunity to grow and heal. It is not a right/wrong, or competition to who has it worse. That creates more division.
Sitting at the table in love and curiosity can make the shifts, I believe that! Egos aside, we are all made of the same stuff. Yes there are some really bad people and things, each person is not responsible for the actions of others. We are responsible for our own. Choose curiousness and open consciousness and sit at the table with your ego aside, you that’s how we can come together. From my heart with Love 🧶♥️
I am a Black woman who is exhausted..the will to do the work as I see it is just not there. I’m tired of gaslighting myself into believing that people are willing to acknowledge the original harms in order to process the threads of that to where we are now. Right now, I have no hope that we as a country will do better. This is not complicated in theory. But the denial is generations long, and it will not be broken as long as power over continues to be commodified in this racist capitalist sexist ableist patriarchy. If you voted for my harm and the harm to the masses I don’t have a lot of anything for you right now. Appreciate your thoughts Shiloh..
Perfect cleaning of the lens. Let in and see and feel what is given in the moment, clean your stuff that surfaces and fogs your lens move forward in Peace.
This is such a difficult discussion for anyone to tackle. Thank you for continuing to inspire with your thoughts and love for all on the diverse spectrum of life. Grateful for the love you hold for the greater community.
