Oh good morning to you beautiful beings! Thank you so much for being a subscriber here at Tea with the Muse. I love being able to talk to you as often as I want. There's so much in the industry these days that says don't share too much, don't do it too often, but I'm an over generous sharer and an educator and so Tea with the Muse gives me a chance to do that. This is my podcast space, but I also have all kinds of other things, which you can find at musea.org, M-U-S-E-A. Join us today for Luscious! Did you know that there are more than five senses?
And the fact that since Aristotle invented the idea of the five senses, which is all in the head and face, and then the skin as an overall vessel, you know, back in 300 something BC, we have not really as a culture addressed the reality of how many more senses there are.
I define the senses as any place there is an internal facing anatomy and an external facing anatomy. So what are the first things that come to mind, that feel, that sense, that know, that we haven't been paying any attention to? I've counted about eight. I know, a lot.
But what starts to happen when you connect with these senses as part of the overall sensual experience of being in a body at this time, then activation changes for you. Access changes, pleasure increases.
What if your nipples know something that your nose does not? What if your belly button is picking up on something different than what your eyes perceive visually.
All of these places within our body have intelligences and are designed with a very specific function, which is not perfunctory only, but to intuit and pick up on the field, to let your entire body be a sensory unit through which to give and receive information.
However, there is also a challenge to because those of us who are turned on and tuned in, we can experience overwhelm from the onslaught of sensory inputs into our sensual body. So we're going to cover all of that and more in this experiential gathering called Luscious.
And I will be sharing with you this gorgeous painting that my mother made of gorgeous me. I actually posed for it. She took a photo and painted it. Now, my mother is a poet, but she said words were not enough for my beauty. So join us today. There will be a recording.
So if you can't rearrange the world, you can tune in later. All right. Much love to each of you. Also, Exotic Creatures live stream and on demand is coming right up. If you want to paint with me to experience this material at a deeper level, you know what to do. It's all over at musea.org.
There are also links on this page. Much love.
